My dad......
Dec. 10th, 2004 05:02 pmIs a twat!
Haha I know, not very nice, but he is.
Over lots of things but what's got me pissed off today is that I finally got round to having my second lesson and I have a habit of steering too low and too hard so my instructor siggested my mum or dad take me out to a car park at an industrial estate round here on sunday and let me practice. Else it will cost loads of money in lessons where all I'm doing is sorting out my steering. Cept I got back and first thing I get told is that my mum and dad sorted the insurance out today and I've not been put on. So when I said to my dad he said it was because I didn't need to drive. I then went on to point out that I'd just been told that the best thing I could do at the minute was drive in a car park and he starts fucking screaming at me saying I'm going nowhere near a car until I've passed my test.
*shrugs* All I'm gonna say is it's his money, if I'm not allowed to practice outside of lessons they can get stuffed if they think I'm gonna pay for ANY lessons myself. No matter how many lessons it takes me to learn, I am not going to pay for a single one. I may even take longer deliberately.
Also found out today that my RE coursework title is likely to be rejected as they've changed the criteria to minimise overlap between coursework and the exam, which is great I'm sure but it means that the only thing I vaguely want to do coursework on is off limits. So now I have to forget all the research I've done and try find a new title. *laughs* I'm sure this would be irritating me less if it weren't for my dad.
Did however get my chequebook today, haha I feel all grown up *blushes* Don't know when I'll use it but still.....
Meh am gonna leave it here, am hungry and tired and I have to work tonight, tomorrow day and tomorrow night and then rehearse Grease on Sunday.
