Do you ever have days where you're perfectly happy and then something happens? Something that shocks you so much, or unhinges you so much you feel physically sick? Something you thought you were over.......
Jamie text me today
I was sat in maths and felt my phone vibrate, but ignored it seen as I really do need to start paying proper attention in maths. But then it kept buzzing on and off. I looked at it and had 3 missed calls. When I saw they were from Jamie, my stomach did it's usual trick of skinking right down. Then I realised I had a txt too and read it. He was just begging me to reply to him, asking how I was. *shrugs* I replied, know I shouldn't have but I really didn't see the harm and I was bored (my resolution to pay attention never lasts long. He's in Crete...... Apparently he doesn't like it and can't wait to get home. Normal enough so far. Then in his next txt he says "I'd love to come back here again though, with someone I wish I'd never split up with" and asking if I could go up sometime soon. At which point I ignored him and did some work! Then I was bored and replied at lunch asking why it was so bad and saying it'd be summer at least before I could even think about going up. Haven't heard from him since, but I did take a long time to reply *laughs*
Thing was though, when I read that txt, my heart rose. In the same sort of way it used to when we were togther and he made some comment about loving me forever, or whatever.
You really would have thought by now that I'd have realised I'm not strong enough to cope with him. Especially not with my exams starting next week.
Scary thought........
Out of my last 20 entries (including memes admittedly) my friends in real life know about the content of none of them.
